"Sweet and Cuddly like a Teddybear."

Hi, my name is Teddy. I’m a 2021 gelding, Welsh cross, 13.3hh bay pony. I came all the way from Alberta to meet you today! My life wasn’t always easy. I could barely feel my heartbeat or legs move, and I was so tired. I didn’t understand the world and wondered if other horses also felt this way. Luckily, I finally got the chance to come across someone who could help me. I entered Floriane’s intensive rehab program in March of 2024. I was very nervous about my new home. Lots of different new people, smells, and things around. Luckily, I had my best friend, Rocket, right by my side at all times to guide me through. Upon arrival, I heard the vet, whom I had never seen before, say that I might not make it through the night… Floriane and Rocket sure had other plans! With some very hard work, lots of love and special feed, I started to really value Floriane and all she gave me. Did you see the difference in me only 30 days after arrival!? I sure felt joyful. To this day, people seem to be very impressed by who I’ve become: big and strong, tall and fast! I do enjoy the idea that I get to have lots of attention and cuddles now. I was able to learn all sorts of new things and explore the world for the past two years. I have also learned that I will always be safe, properly cared for, never lose my friend Rocket, and be loved for who I am today. Goofy, gentle, and oh so loving.  Please get a hug from me. :) My favourite things are kisses, neck scratches, and people.
