Duck was lucky enough to get rescued by a friend of Floriane in the fall of 2022. He came all the way from Alberta, where he spent his first two years as a feral pony. Stands approximately 13.2hh, a 2021 young pony. He came to us for training with his brother Sunshine (whom Floriane rescued) as a very thin, fragile, and extremely traumatized/unhandled pony. He has fully been tamed up and is slowly learning about this beautiful world. I think he may have been the wildest soul I have ever tamed up. His favourite friend is his dad Spirit. He finds a lot of safety being around him.

 

Since Duck lost his brother in the spring of 2023 due to an accident, he had an extremely hard time processing his grief. His owner therefore donated him to us. Duck adores hugs and loves human affection!! He will be the first one to meet you at the gate and will beg you to come play with you. He adores kids and has been part of our kids program and involved in the therapy world since the summer of 2023. Duck is one in a million! My little heart pony who means the world to me after Sunshine's loss, that will always be extremely hard for both of us. He enjoys ground driving, loves to play with any obstacle, and is slowly being started under saddle. We are excited to see him grow and see where he takes us even more!
